10 Lies You Believe About Fat
10. All Fats are the Same
Ever since the 1980’s fats have gotten a bad reputation. Unfortunately, even today fats are one of the most misunderstood nutrients out there—the following 10 myths about fats have all been debunked by science.
There are many kinds of fats. Most of the fat in your diet should be monounsaturated and polyunsaturated (found mainly in nuts, vegetable oils, and seeds) rather than saturated (usually animal and solid fats) or trans-fats.

Omega-3 fatty acids also are required for normal conception, growth, and development of an embryo. So including fish and fish oil supplements in your diet can really pay dividends.
